The Estate of Francis Bacon has loaned the painting 'Triptych November 1981 - January 1982 (left panel)', to the Tate Modern.

'Triptych November 1981 - January 1982 (left panel)' becomes the second Francis Bacon painting currently on display at the Tate Modern. Bacon's 'Figures in a Garden' c.1936, hangs in 'Surrealism and Beyond', level 2 room 2. Both Francis Bacon paintings currently displayed at the Tate Modern are available to view free of charge.
